The Democrats Can't Find a Good Man
Why can't the Democrats find a normal male?
Graham Platner has been getting the Swalwell treatment over the past two days. Now, it appears they're having trouble identifying a possible replacement. According to Progressive Victory, "In our discussions we have received troubling information about not only Jackson's [a potential replacement for Platner] behavior, but the behavior of many prominent Maine Democrats toward women more broadly."
Other prominent white male Democrat politicians that have been in the news of late include James Talerico & Tim Waltz, both strange men in their own rights. Why, one might wonder, at a time in which their support among white males is cratering, can't the Dems find a normal, straight, white male candidate?
Well, start with the fact that for the past decade or two, they've been arguing that straight white men should be discriminated against. Over the last ten years or so, wherever they've been able to seize power, they've happily done so; now that the lawsuits are getting rolling, it turns out they boasted about it… in email.
That said, you can be a violent degenerate and so long as you espouse the correct views and make yourself useful to the cause, you'll be folded in its protective embrace. Many prominent Democrats defended Platner, until his poll numbers started slipping. During the Clinton scandals (in which he was found to be sleeping with an intern), female reporter Nina Burleigh said "I would be happy to give him a blowjob just to thank him for keeping abortion legal. I think American women should be lining up with their Presidential kneepads on to show their gratitude for keeping the theocracy off our backs." Hell, Ted Kennedy killed a woman, but he had the right views and was a Senator from a safe state, so he was hailed as "the Lion of the Senate".
Given that incentive structure, what sort of man will be attracted to the Democratic Party? Well-adjusted, high-functioning straight white males know they'll be passed over for a trans/bisexual/two-spirit person of color. But… if you can live with that, it's a great place to indulge your worst impulses without consequences. It's unsurprising that the men willing to subject themselves to this would disproportionately be predators of various sorts. I would go further & suggest that Democrat party leadership like candidates like this, since they can be made pliant when they become inconvenient. One wonders how much dirt they have on current congressional membership…
